Testimonials

We went to D’Asign Source to help us furnish The SaltyLime, our large property renovation project in Marathon, FL. Our experience from the first meeting to the final delivery of product was wonderful. Lou Dunn was exceptional to work with and came up with ideas, designs and layouts that were unique and fit our themes perfectly. From the inside furniture and decor to the outdoor spaces, Lou and the D’Asign Source team made our project come to life and our guests have loved enjoying the property. I highly recommend this team for your island / coastal design project.

I’ve been in the building products industry working in the North East US my entire career. In 2021 my wife and I decided to purchase a future retirement home that required significant remodeling to Sunset in Marathon. With our primary residence being 1,400 miles away my main concern was finding a reputable company that wasn’t going to stress us out through the entire process. Anyone that has spent time in the Florida Keys knows that it is an underserved market from a retail perspective. What was very impressive to me was that D’Asign Source had it completely figured out, they are a full-service design build firm that does everything in house, from architecture, project management, construction, landscaping, interior design, to supply of not only building materials, but also furniture, rugs, and window treatments. I was also impressed with each person’s knowledge of the complete breadth and depth of their product offerings. This is a generational family-owned business with a deep-rooted customer centric culture, and a real passion for what they do. I’ve worked with many builders and contractors over the years, but I’ve never come across a company that understands the gaps in their market so well and compensates for these market deficiencies to provide their customers with a turnkey building or remodeling experience. If you’re looking to truly enjoy the process of constructing your dream home while someone else does all of the planning and heavy lifting, then there is no other choice in the Florida Keys.

We’ve used D’Asign Source’s services several times for major and minor construction projects at our Florida Keys home. All of the projects have turned out wonderfully. The vision of D’Asign Source’s architectural design group has helped us to create a spectacular home and yard with additional bedrooms and baths to accommodate our entire family. The most recent project included replacement of a small fiberglass pool with a spectacular concrete pool. All of the D’Asign Source staff were great to work with. In particular, “James” who did most of the pool installation was thorough and provided a nice end product. In addition, he was responsive whenever we had problems or required service.

Andrew from the AV Department is the best!He did an outstanding hood revamping our security lighting and audio-visual equipment during our remodel.
Great communicator! 5-star service!

We have worked with D’Asign Source for a few years as a customer of furniture/rugs. This past month we experienced another side of their business and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Our main contact was James Hides. James not only communicated way above expectations, but he was prompt, got the job done in the timeframe estimated, and left the property looking better than when he came. Because of our experience with James, we will not hesitate contacting D’Asign Source for any other issues that may arise. Thanks James! We also had contact with Lou Dunn with the scheduling and ordering of product needed and Lou was fantastic as well!! Thanks for getting our lights up and running again!

D’Asign Source is your go-to for everything home, from Building to all electronics your home may need. I want to give a special thanks to Andrew for helping us out anytime with our A/V systems.
From remotely helping us to showing up to help us out in person. He made our life a lot easier when it comes to our electronics. Thank you, Andrew and D’Asign source, for the quick turnaround and special attention you provide.

The entire staff were great. They came in on time and were prepared. They understood and had full knowledge of the job. Andrew Walker the Director ofTechnology had great ideas and information for better sound and quality. I will use them again soon.

D’Asign Source designed, built and furnished our home 2+ years ago. They did excellent work and are always available for follow up support. Hats off to all the D’Ascanio family and their entire associate team….James, Michelle, Andrew, Josh, Matt, Brandon and many more who do a terrific job and continue to make it a pleasure to deal with D’Asign Source.

Every week I see people looking for recommendations for pool installation in the Florida Keys. Here is the best recommendation I can give for a fantastic landscape and pool design team. D’Asign Source has it all from design to installation. Special thanks to the on-site project supervisor James Hides. James was on the ground every day putting all the pieces together and we could not be happier with the results.

D’Asign Source did a terrific job with design, build and interior decor of our house in KCB last year. With an expanded work at home lifestyle we just asked them enhance my home office capabilities with big screen TV, PTZ camera and surface condenser microphone. They did a terrific job with design and installation. Now my “virtual image” is professional grade and hours on the screen are comfortable and eye friendly!

We have used D’Asign Source as a design build firm. For each part of each project, they have excelled in communication and problem solving to get our projects done. They also have a wonderful family atmosphere and that carries over to their customer relationships. A pleasure at every step. We have had experience with trying to source contractors ourselves, and we have come to truly appreciate the way they take care of all details. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We worked with Destin at D’Asign Source to rebuild our condo in Key Colony Beach after Hurricane Irma. Our condo was completely gutted and we started from scratch. Destin was wonderful and did an amazing job of redesigning our kitchen and overseeing every part of our reconstruction! She gave me great advice on paint color options, flooring, fixtures…basically everything! Because we live out of state, we depended on her to handle every detail of ordering, delivery and working with our contractor. She exceeded our expectations every step of the way. I honestly don’t know where we would be right now without her and D’Asign Source! We moved in April 16th and couldn’t be happier!

I would like to thank the whole team from D’Asign Source for taking care of us on our recent renovation project on Big Pine! You guys exceeded our expectations across the board from working through design options all the way through to delivering an outstanding finished product. Together we took what we thought was a home of our nightmares to the home of our dreams, and walking in the door to see the finished product really took our breath away. You delivered on time, on budget, with over the top quality and attention to detail.

Finding the right general contractor in the Keys is a trying experience, and unfortunately we saw it all from “Key’s diseased workers”, to no shows, cost overruns and poor workmanship. We were at our wits-end when we contacted Amedeo, and from that day on you guys took care of us by actually listening to us instead of telling us what we could do. Cristina and Douglas nailed the designs and finishes with Robin, and Tony assigned Derrick to our job who took personal ownership and managed the project implementation full stop.

The great thing about working with a family owned business like yours is the personal commitment of all involved, and your team delivered in spades. Finding the right partner to help us build our dream has been a godsend. I look forward to the next phases and a long term relationship with you!

D’Asign Source has completed two major renovations on two of our luxury vacation rentals. Both projects included custom pools, complete interior remodel, outdoor living spaces and extensive landscaping. Throughout the entire project we always felt comfortable and in excellent hands. The entire team was available to us at all times. Their talent and expertise are second to none. Their “can do” attitude made our dreams a reality. Every step of the way I felt that customer satisfaction was the end result. In fact, it was the first project when one of the owner’s told us that their goal is to earn a lifetime customer. They have succeeded. Both homes were major projects and very time sensitive. They finished on schedule or ahead of schedule and at or under budget. We cannot recommend D’Asign Source enough for your project.

We absolutely love the work D’Asign Source did on our condo. Our condo had been in our family since the ‘60’s. It seriously needed a complete update and new design. Our place is small, with a perfect view of the Atlantic Ocean. Without D’Asign Source expertise, attention to detail and ethical standards we could never have completed this project.

Michelle, our designer, created a stupendous design and helped us with detailed decisions. She took a small space and applied her expertise – from a spectacular kitchen to an amazing closet area in the bedroom. I have a gorgeous kitchen and more closet space than before. She listened carefully and delivered perfectly. Franco’s business approach and professional ideas helped us feel comfortable completing this from 1,700 miles away. The attention and communication throughout the project and after Hurricane Irma was so appreciated. All the fine people at D’Asign Source who have taken part in this project should be commended – each had a positively impact on this result. We have quality throughout and are now enjoying our new condo!

When you need a Medical Doctor, seek the Dr. that other Doctors choose for themselves and their family – obviously they would only go to the brightest and best. Same is true when choosing a builder. Research to see which builder other professional builders are using. My husband and I are commercial builders with over 45 years experience. We chose D’Asign Source based on their answers to our specific engineering questions and demands for billing to be performed in a way that gave all complete transparency. From the design process through 10 years of post construction ownership, Franco, Tony and Amedeo answered every call and concern promptly. Our home is unique and stunning yet warm and welcoming. Their high standard of workmanship and continued support for years proved that our money was well spent. D’Asign Source stood to the tests of working under the scrutiny of another professional builder whose demands were unyielding. Not only did they perform – they exceed expectations! Job well done!

We contracted with D’Asign Source to design and build a new outdoor living space, including a new pool, landscaping, irrigation, landscape lighting, and outdoor furniture. They did a superb job of listening to my vision of what I wanted the property to look like, and then presented a design that more than exceeded my expectations. The staff is very talented and easy to work with. They have a very special talent for designing outdoor living space and landscaping that is quite impressive. Their excellent reputation is well deserved. They understand the demands of building in the harsh salt environment of the Keys and use quality products that will last. Constructions crews were efficient and the project was completed on time and within budget. I would give them my highest recommendation.

My family engaged the D’Asign Source team to design and build our dream home. From inception, it was a collaborative effort, exchanging ideas, incorporating design recommendations, visiting other D/S projects, trips to granite producers and so on. As construction began, we reviewed plans together, made changes, added a little here and took a little there. Every milestone was met and our regard for their professionalism grew. The punch list was almost non-existent. When asked…..worth what paid for….we couldn’t be more happy.

We hired this group to design a rebuild with additions and construct. I told them what day my wife liked to arrive in the Keys as she liked to leave NYS the day after Thanksgiving arriving the next Monday. They started in mid August – I made one site visit and my wife made one also. The commercial cleaners left a couple of hours prior to her arrival. It was a complete package—demo thru landscaping. We had to make two changes later and in both cases we’d ruled out their suggestions at the git-go —much to our embarrassment. The house and site get complements to this day.

After visiting their location in Marathon, FL and discussing our project with their team, we selected D’Asign Source as our design consultants for both interior structural and interior design services. Our home was built in NJ and the distance was a non-issue. Their input and involvement in our project was constant and exceptional. Our continuous changes and questions were always welcomed and they always provided their insights, which were invaluable. I look forward to working with them again on our future FL project.

We highly recommend D’Asign Source as your contractor/builder. They made it very easy to build our home and coordinated with many other professionals involved with our project. However, having said that, they are an all encompassing builder including the architectural design, landscape design, furnishings and window treatments, decorating and everything in-between. So if you are just starting, they would be able to meet your every need.

As a custom, specialty stair builder, our company had the pleasure of working on two high-end projects with the in-house design team at D’Asign Source. Our projects involved major exchange of detail and critical measurements. Working with designers, project managers, and job-site superintendents, our company was able to successfully carry out production of custom millwork that fit into the homes beautifully. It’s a pleasure to work with true professionals!

We recently had our kitchen remodeled and we are so glad we went with D’Asign Source. The star of this whole thing (besides our new beautiful kitchen) was our designer, Destin. She was beyond professional and read us very well. She kept us in the loop along the entire project. When there was a small hiccup with an order (Manufacturer, not DS) she was on it and let us know what was going on the entire time. Demolition started early March and was completed mid to late April. We highly recommend D’Asign Source for your project too. We have more projects we would like to do and D’Asign Source, and Destin, will be our go to from here on out.

The team at D’Asign Source is the total package. They offer everything that homeowners need. If you need a large scale remodel or new construction, they can do it for you. If you just need furniture or a kitchen remodel they will give you the same level of service. They have certified interior designers that can assist you every step of the way. Their talented team will assure that although you are living in paradise, you never have to feel like you are on an island with your home improvement project.

It was a pleasure working with D’Asign Source. Throughout the design and build process they listened to our needs and worked with us every step of the way. The results were incredible! Our project turned out exactly as we dreamed and every day we love it even more. Not many firms can offer what D’Asign Source can, they can walk you through every aspect of your project from the conceptual design to the finished project. I’ve worked with other contractors and having the architects and designers in house is an immense benefit and makes the job run so much smoother. A wonderful choice!

The D’Asign Source team met with me to survey my front yard and to discuss what I envisioned for my landscaping job. Linda also spent some time in my house, getting a feel for my taste and complexity (or lack thereof) in style. I was insistent about indigenous plants and keeping several plants that I had an emotional attachment to. Linda and her team were sensitive to my requirements. And although this was not a large project, they treated it with the same attitude. They returned with beautifully detailed plans that provided a wide variety of plants and color. The razing and prep of the yard went very smoothly. The crew that planted was efficient and knowledgable and helped me understand the care involved with each plant. It was a pleasure to collaborate with DS: their knowledge and professionalism are unmatched in the Keys.

We hired D’asign Source approximately 18 months ago to design and build our home in the keys. This involved demolition of the previous house followed by design and construction of the new home. Amedeo and Tony, and their entire “crew” have been absolutely amazing. Their professionalism, expertise, creativity and enthusiasm is unmatched. This is a long distance project, and the team has kept us updated through frequent calls, emails and photos. We are now in the interior design phase, and Douglas and Destin are helping us in the many selections that we must make, we are so happy that we found d’asign source..they are helping us realize our dream… and we found them on Houzz!

Initially I was wary that D’Asign Source would be too big for our new deck remodeling project. Not to fear. They were great. Of course professional and we got great value for our dollar. Recommend them for any job large or small. Great creativity and the finished product is perfect.
